Festival of Power 2008

This year's Festival of Power will be held at Port Solent Marina from 30 May to 1 June.

The show is open daily from 10am-5pm with free entry and will host a wide selection of boats including craft by Bavaria, Sealine, Bénéteau, Silverton, Arvor, Fairline, Atlantis, Gobbi, Azimut, Rib-X and Bombard.

Among the more unusual boats on show will be a Fountain 48 Express Cruiser.

The show is billed as the largest gathering of powerboats in the South of England before the Southampton Boat Show and provides visitors with a good opportunity to make boat comparisons on the water.

Dan Hughes, Port Solent Marina Manager, commented: "Premier is delighted to be hosting the Festival of Power for a second year and is looking forward to it being bigger and better than last.

"The festival provides a great chance to come and view the range of motorboats on the water and also gives visitors the chance to step onboard."

Exhibiting at the show is Ancasta International Boat Sales, Dickies International, Essex Boat Yards, Gibbs Marine, Marina Marbella UK, Inwards, Shipshape Services and Prospect.

Sponsors of the show include Raymarine, Bank of Scotland, Marina Matters and Volvo.
