Alinghi wins, a classic match
It was a classic America's Cup Match race from start to finish. Alinghi won the start, sat on Emirates Team New Zealand right over to the port layline for a single tack leg 1 and then led, covering closely for most of the race, right to the finish with the Kiwis clinging to their coat tails just 30 seconds behind at the end.
But you know, compared to yesterday's adrenaline-charged race it was really a little bit boring.
Picture shows Alinghi closing on the line on the final leg.
